Rabbi Rothstein was raised in Baltimore, MD, the oldest of eight children. He traveled the world for school, living in Chicago, Montreal, Melbourne, and New York before landing in Tennessee. Shlomo is known for always having a smile on his face, and is guaranteed to make your day better when you are around him.

• “I love trail-running. I find pushing myself to the max exhilarating. When I’m trail-running, I feel very free, and in the zone”.

• Shlomo enjoys mediation, comedy, and tailgating at Vanderbilt football games. Catch him around the at tailgates!

• One of my favorite parts of the day is coming home and goofing off with my six children.

• “I love studying the deeper parts of the Torah like Hasidic philosophy (mystical aspects of Judaism), and applying it to daily life. I find it elevating, relevant, and practical.”

Nechama is fun, and spontaneous, a heart of gold, really loves the students, she is very comforting and a superb listener, someone who is easy to relate to. She is very down to earth, her insight and guidance is sought after by the many students she councils. 

Fun facts:

• She grew up in Berkeley CA, in a very outgoing family.

• Nechama can whip up an incredible Shabbas dinner every single week, including some of the best challah and salads you’ve ever had.

• Nechama studied in California, Chicago, Israel, and Vienna.
